# Dhruva Check

We stop agents from paying fake sellers.

Confirmation of Payee, for the agent economy.

Agent payments running on x402 are instant, irreversible, and fully autonomous, but they skip the one step banks require before moving money: verifying who actually holds the receiving account. Dhruva Check builds that missing layer for the agent economy: the equivalent of UK Confirmation of Payee or EU Verification of Payee, purpose-built for on-chain agent-to-agent transactions.

## Highlights

- One lookup, before every payment. Before an agent signs anything, it checks the receiving address against two on-chain signals: an identity score from independent audits (Validation Registry) and a trust score from real behavioral history (Reputation Registry).

- Reputation that decays. Trust scores carry a 30-day half-life, so a strong audit can't cover for bad recent behavior. Tiers rise and fall in real time.

- A tier for every payee. Scores fold into one rating, L0 to L4, that sets an earned payment limit. Better-audited, better-behaved sellers unlock higher-value transactions.

- Fail closed by default. Every check resolves to MATCH (pay), CLOSE_MATCH (route through policy), or NO_MATCH (block). Unknown or unverified payees are blocked automatically, never paid by accident.

- Deployed and live. Running today on Robinhood Chain Testnet.

The result: agents transact with full autonomy while Dhruva Check refuses, deterministically and before any signature is created, to let them pay a seller who can't prove who they are.
