EggFarm Legend is a creature-breeding game on Arbitrum where care beats cash: feed your NFT creatures, hatch rarer eggs, battle, and trade for ARB. A well-fed Common can beat a neglected Legendary.
EggFarm Legends is a play-to-earn creature-breeding game on Arbitrum where care is the strategy. Every creature is a real on-chain NFT whose hunger decays 10% per hour — a neglected Legendary loses to a well-kept Common. Players buy a creature, complete daily tasks and battles to earn $FEED (ERC-20), feed their creature, collect eggs every 2 hours, incubate and hatch them (24–72h), breed for rarer genetics, and trade eggs/creatures for ARB on an escrow marketplace (2.5% fee). Contracts are the source of truth for every game-critical value; a Go indexer stack keeps a Postgres read-cache in sync so screens render instantly, while every write is signed in the player's own wallet (WalletConnect v2 on mobile, MetaMask/injected on web). Built for the Arbitrum Open House Buildathon: Solidity/Foundry contracts (FeedToken, EggNFT, CreatureNFT, Marketplace, BattleEscrow), Go backend (REST API, event indexers, task/reward service, hourly hunger cron), Flutter app and React webapp — 5+ shared screens each.
<p>- Contracts: 5 Solidity contracts (Foundry, OZ v5) — FeedToken, EggNFT, CreatureNFT, Marketplace, BattleEscrow — with 43 passing tests (~85% line coverage), deploy script that wires all circular references/roles and verifies on Arbiscan.</p><p>- Backend: Go REST API (openapi.yaml), marketplace + game-state event indexers with cursor tracking, daily task service that mints $FEED, hourly hunger/starvation sweep, RNG package mirroring contract odds for gas-free previews.</p><p>- Mobile: Flutter app with BLoC — Farm, Tasks, Breeding Lab, Marketplace, Inventory (+ Battle Arena, Collection, Leaderboard), WalletConnect v2 sign flow, no private keys in-app.</p><p>- Web: React 19 + Vite + wagmi/viem — same feature set, wallet-extension login, forced chain-switch to Arbitrum Sepolia, type-checks and lints clean.</p><p>- Docs/demo: architecture overview, pitch outline, shot-by-shot 90s + 60s video scripts, docker-compose dev environment.</p><p>- Remaining before judging: broadcast contracts to Arbitrum Sepolia (deployer key needs faucet ETH), paste live addresses into backend/webapp/mobile configs, and validate the connect→approve→sign loop on a real device.</p>
<p>Not currently raising. Pre-product, hackathon-stage — no revenue and no investors to date. Open to conversations with Arbitrum ecosystem funds and gaming grants post-testnet-launch; happy to share the deck and contract addresses once the Sepolia deployment is live.</p>
