The Problem

Galena solves the problem that profitable crypto traders and strategy creators lose their edge to capital gains tax and platform mistrust, while customers have no reliable platform to find genuine strategies from paid influencers.

Right now, users are stuck in an industry where revenue isn't tied to results, since signal sellers work under flat subscription fees. On top of that, every profitable trade triggers a taxable event, quietly destroying long-term compounding.

The Solution

Galena solves this with a decentralized, non-custodial strategy marketplace built on ERC-4626 vaults (via the audited, 5+ year-old Enzyme Protocol).

• Investors deposit into a vault and receive shares representing full ownership — Galena and strategy creators never touch client funds.

• Because gains stay inside the vault, investors avoid triggering capital gains events on every trade, and can borrow against their vault shares for tax-free liquidity instead of selling at an interest rate lower than the tax they would have had to pay.

• Strategy creators connect their algorithms and earn transparent, on-chain performance fees instead of flat subscriptions — aligning their incentives directly with client profitability.

• Users can stake the GALENA token to earn a pro-rata share of platform-wide performance fees with zero trading risk.

Proven Performance

Galena isn't launching empty. Our flagship MRS strategy has returned 82x since Jan 2023 (vs. 5.45x for Bitcoin) with a comparable max drawdown, including live forward-tested results like:

• A 72% gain during the 2025 ETH rally

• A 33% gain during the recent Bitcoin crash (BTC dropped ~50% in comparison)

The Loop

Galena's ecosystem is designed to create sticky clients and a reinforcing loop:

Strategy Creators Profitable creators join because they earn more from a scalable, performance-based pay structure. As a result, they bring their existing client base. On the platform, they gain access to even more TVL, creating competition among strategy developers to build better strategies — improving the platform and attracting even more clients. Creators also earn greater performance fees depending on how many clients they onboard.

Clients Clients feed into the loop through the tax benefits they receive, and become extremely sticky the longer they remain — leaving would trigger all the taxable profits that Galena was saving them. Clients also benefit from referrals: referring a client adds them proportionally to the fee recipients of the referred vaults.

Stakers Our staking programme allows people to gain a pro-rata proportion of the overall fees from all the vaults, offering a "risk-free rate" — income without risking money in any strategy. Stakers become directly aligned with platform growth, since attracting more users grows their fees for free.

Lenders Since the underlying assets and vault tokens stay within the ecosystem, lenders enjoy:

• Zero counterparty risk

• Real-time valuation

• No third-party delays on liquidation

Lenders can also charge a high interest rate and still enjoy high demand from borrowers, since the interest that Galena's users pay is still less than the tax they'd have paid had they sold their shares — creating a win-win situation.
