SignalTrace Treasury is a policy-enforced treasury for AI-native teams, built on Arbitrum. It combines deterministic spending policies, evidence-based AI investigation, and smart-contract settlement to create a controlled workflow for on-chain payments.
AI is deliberately kept advisory: it investigates and explains policy decisions but cannot approve payments, modify policies, access private keys, or execute transactions. Deterministic policy logic remains the decision layer, while the smart contract re-enforces critical constraints at execution. Every investigation is backed by canonical evidence and can be reconciled against live on-chain state.
The current MVP is deployed and tested on Arbitrum Sepolia, demonstrating both auto-approved and human-approved payment flows from request to settlement and reconciliation.
<p>During the hackathon, SignalTrace Treasury was built from the ground up into a working end-to-end prototype on Arbitrum Sepolia.</p><p>We first implemented and tested the Solidity treasury with role-based authorization, recipient allowlisting, single-transaction, daily and monthly limits, auto-approval, human approval, reservation accounting, and secure ERC20 settlement.</p><p>We then built the off-chain deterministic policy engine, evidence builder, database index, and chain reconciliation layer. The policy engine mirrors the contract rules without making the database or application layer a source of financial authority.</p><p>The AI Investigator was added as a strictly advisory layer using Ollama Cloud and gpt-oss:20b. Its output is schema-validated, evidence-grounded, and prevented from changing policy decisions or executing transactions.</p><p>Finally, we built the investigation dashboard and validated the complete workflow with real transactions on Arbitrum Sepolia, including both an auto-approved payment and a payment requiring human approval before execution.</p>
<p>Bootstrapped / No external funding. SignalTrace Treasury is currently an independently built hackathon MVP and is not currently raising funds.</p>
