tidex6

Private stablecoin and tokenized-asset payments with a chosen auditor. The sender hides a payment from everyone except the reader they pick — an accountant or a regulator — who can read it but never spend or freeze it. Groth16 proofs, Rust end to end. Live on Solana and Arc mainnet; verifier and both pools deployed on Stylus on Arbitrum Sepolia and Robinhood Chain.

Description

tidex6: private payments on Arbitrum, written in Rust with Stylus. The payment is hidden from everybody. Only the person you choose can see it.

How it works

The recipient enables private payments with one signature. The sender pays from their own wallet and adds a note. The recipient finds the payment in the browser and makes the zero-knowledge proof in the
browser. A relayer sends the withdrawal and pays the gas. Nothing on chain connects the sender and the recipient.

Live on testnets, with transactions anyone can open

Arbitrum Sepolia, 3 Oct 2026. 2 USDC sent from one wallet to another with the note "forty-two".

  • Sent: 0x1794b553…a6eb

  • Received: 0x710061f0…79ac

Robinhood Chain testnet, 3 Oct 2026. 1 TSLA and 1 USDG sent into the shielded pools and received by a second wallet.

  • TSLA sent: 0xfdbb01a2…cb20

  • TSLA received: 0x0fb5152e…a47a

  • USDG sent: 0xce1ba97b…ca06

  • USDG received: 0xbb8781ef…179f

The fee is collected live in the treasury.

New in this buildathon: a confidential token on Stylus

Balances are encrypted. A private transfer, a deposit into the pool and a withdrawal back onto a balance move no public amount. Only the wrap shows a number: 1 USDC. Arbitrum Sepolia, 2 Oct 2026:

  • Private transfer

  • Deposit into the pool

  • Withdrawal back onto a balance

Built during the buildathon

All of stylus/ (verifiers, Poseidon, pools), note format v2 (owner-bound notes, refunds, in-pool fee), the confidential token, and two issues reported upstream to the Stylus SDK: one is fixed and closed (stylus-sdk-rs 455, a pinned dependency that blocked a security fix), the other is open (stylus-sdk-rs 452, a missing option in cargo-stylus verify).

Progress During Hackathon

All dates 2026. Everything below is in the public repo (stylus/ and docs/release/V2_PROGRESS.md). 22 Sep. Reported to the Stylus SDK repository that its ruint pin blocks a security fix (issue 455). Fixed and closed on 2 Oct. 25 Sep. A security review of our own pools, prompted by the Shielded Bitcoin paper, found two defects in the first note format: a note's amount was not bound to the amount paid in, and the sender could spend a note. No funds were at risk. We did not patch it, we replaced it: note format v2. The pool now files each note from the amount it actually received, only the recipient's key can spend, refunds are possible only after a deadline, and the 1% fee cannot be skipped. A full post-mortem is public. 25 Sep. Pool v2 written in Rust with Stylus for Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain: verifiers, Poseidon, pools, and an owner-key registry. Same ABI as our Solidity pool, so one client speaks both. 26 Sep. Public trusted-setup ceremony restarted for the two v2 circuits. 28 Sep. Pools v2 live on Arbitrum Sepolia (USDC, USDG) and Robinhood Chain testnet (USDG, TSLA), built as verified reproducible builds. Note amounts now count millionths of a token on every chain, and the Stylus pool gained the public reads the Solidity pool has. 2 Oct. A confidential token on Stylus, live on Arbitrum Sepolia: encrypted balances (Baby Jubjub), and a private transfer, a deposit into the pool and a withdrawal back onto a balance move no public amount. Only the wrap shows one. 3 Oct. Recorded live: 2 USDC sent between two wallets on Arbitrum Sepolia, and 1 TSLA plus 1 USDG on Robinhood Chain testnet. The relayer paid the gas and the fee reached the treasury. Transactions are linked in the project description. What is not finished: the v2 verifying keys on testnet come from a development setup, not from the public ceremony. Mainnet waits for the ceremony.

Fundraising Status

No outside funding raised. tidex6 is built and run on our own servers and funds. Applied: Arc Microgrants (Circle), 500 USDC, submitted 21 Sep 2026, decision expected by 21 Oct 2026. Also entered: Colosseum Crypto World's Fair, final submission 6-12 Oct 2026. Next: a public ceremony for the v2 circuits, then mainnet. A professional audit of the pools is planned before mainnet launch and needs funding.
